Spent Saturday night at a Walmart in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I was feeling a bit unsure of the area, however when we saw the name of the road it was off of, figured it was a good omen :) Free, but noisy experience.
Yesterday we were cruising along nicely, pulled off at a rest stop in Dale City, Virginia. I heard a loud hissing from the rear passenger tire and we realized we had a leak. Called CAA, who were excellent, hooked us up with AAA. It was a gorgeous sunny warm day so we didn't mind, took the time to have some delicious Lancaster cheese, grapes, etc. When the dude arrived we were able to put some air in the tire and followed him to a local tire specialist who replaced the tire for us within minutes. Stopped at DQ and headed back out on the I95. Stopped at our first official RV park in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Enjoyed a meal of hotdogs with sliced cucumbers on the side, super healthy! Of course we had to open a bottle of white wine, and by 9pm we were toast. Slept much better here...definitely preferred over Walmart. Have full hookups and $30 for the night, not bad. This morning we christened the nespresso and enjoyed an excellent cup of coffee! Fried up some eggs and sausage and had a lovely morning. Just packing up now, the high here today is 28! Another beauty day for traveling 🌞
