2/4 Tuesday!

We decided to go for a bike ride through the Edisto park trails this am. Magical! The marshes are stunning! Happy we decided to take some time to explore and hit the road a bit later. The beach is littered with sea shells, couldn't help but think of you Lydia!  Didn't get much driving in, stopped at smoking pig bbq off the I 95. Super yummy...friendly, the owner was very nice and gave us a sample of the pulled pork when he saw I was only having the chicken salad! They have this vinegar sauce that is incredibly tasty! Rog had the brisket with a side of potato salad and Mac & cheese, yum! We actually grabbed a side of Mac & cheese to take with us for later. Ended up in St .Augustine Florida, another beautiful area! Staying at Anastasia state park, pretty good last minute choice. Fried up some absolutely delicious crab cakes and Rog made some crazy amazing fried shrimp from Flowers Seafood Shack (we picked up the local fair  as we were leaving Edisto). I swear it's the best shrimp we've ever had..used their local spice combo, and the freshness of their seafood makes all the difference. Best meal on the trip by far! Plan on leaving here first thing tomorrow...once we get to the keys and are settled I'll post pics.

Forgot, as per title of this post...found a fantastic radio station, 96.9, which was playing a 2/4 Tuesday, which consisted of some excellent music, Hendrix , Zeplin, Journey, etc...we were rocking out along the I 95! It was the best!!!
